Almost everytime I return to my marina, all sorts of nearby boaters appear to help me tie up. Sometimes they show up with additonal fenders, lines, and boathooks. The stronger the wind is blowing, and/or the current flowing, the more often they appear.
Does this mean they want to claim salvage, do not want me to smash into their boats, crunch into our marina's docks, are they just being helpful, or are they just thirsty? Any help in a successful, or otherwise, docking always ends with a happy sharing of grog on board the MARGOLETTA.
PS Still haven't found that lost anchor, but I know where it is.
