Possibly so- are we? What I think is true is that there are two fairly distinct markets which do overlap to some extent. Maybe more so now, with authors like Philip Pullman, than they did then. Although he was a superb craftsman and could write for either, after SA AR never seemed in any doubt as to which market he was aiming at. Quite apart from any personal preference, a man and his wife have to eat...
