The line count of text lines per page in my old Cape hardbacks is:
CC - 34 lpp (4th impression 1937) Library stamp 23 Jan 1940
PP - 33 lpp (5th impression 1937)
WD 34 lpp (25th impression 1968)
ML - 36 lpp (13th impression 1964)
GN - 36 lpp (1st edn 1947)

The prewar CC has 34 not 33 lpp. The CC and PP pages would have looked better if the top and bottom margins had been the same instead of having a larger bottom margin (23 mm) than top margin (12-14 mm). Both measured to the text line, ignoring chapter heading and page number.

They are all ex-library, CC & PP were 1937 editions but both have a 1940 library stamp in the front ie they took over two years to get to New Zealand! GN does not seem to have the War Economy stamp, unless lost in rebinding. A Lion (at the back) as I recall from other books?
