Back to Felis silvestris! Ian is convincing about Raineach as a protoype for Nancy. I have, incidentally, just noticed that G.C. Davies (of The Swan and its Crew) wrote a book set in the North country titled Wild Cat Tower. Are there (m)any genuine place names in the north that refer to the Wild Cat?
