That's interesting, my impression is that there are lots of birds in the British wet-lands (but perhaps not so many wet-lands). I've just come back from a rafting trip in Karelia (Russia) and we noticed how few ducks, geese etc there were on the acres of river and lake out there. The enthusiatic way our Russian companions greeted the few wildfowl we saw, with shotgun imitations and the like may give a hint as to why there were so few. But keep it up, you are doing a good job for the Florida tourist board.
