I bow to your greater knowledge of labradors. I don't think I have even been in the same room as one - I must have led a deprived life.
We did have a cat next door, which my children called the Hoover, which would eat anything including all salad vegetables. I suspect that they kept their plates clean of food they disliked by feeding it to that cat.
Our cat was a fussy eater until it realised the the Hoover would eat it it's food.
I wonder how Sinbad liked Bovril on biscuits? Or did Sinbad try to cadge food from the Swallows?
