We have never really resolved what the spare room is beside the main door at the front of the house. I know Ed and I have talked about it at some length.
What types of rooms were provided in Enlgish houses of the time?
Ed and I have discussed where the Kitchen was located and I must say it has to be in the back part of the house.
I have seen the drawing of Beckfoot shown in MM but I think it is to narrow compared to AR's drawings. It is possible to scale from the perspective drawing and I think the designer has it to long and thin.
So any ideas as to what rooms one would have:
We know about the Dining Room and the Drawing Room and the Study but what is the last room, it is not a biliards room as billiards was not played at the time of the building of the house was it?
