I have now placed the seventh of nine planks, only the sheer planks remain along the top edge of the boat. I have now learned how to replane the edge of the plank till they fit neatly. It is a slow task. I only made two mistakes, I hammered the centre of the plank till it was a flush fit on the water edge, but I have made the stern overlap only about 12 mm when I did not recheck the stern end before roving the plank in, I hope this is ok.

I forgot to saw off the new shape at the top of the plank at the stern. It will be a bit of a slow job.

I got some new Dolfinite from Jamestown Distributors, the old stuff was starting to set. This new stuff is tan. It oxidizes to dark greeny brown slowly.

I am happy. I will take some pictures tomorrow and put them on my web site.

I hope everyone is well. Off to read SW.
