In the Picts and the Martyrs (2nd chapter, page 32)
the D's are looking at the pigon loft and find the bell disconected.
Later (chapter 16) when sailing home alone the first day in the Scarab,
they hear the bell ring and coment that it should have been disconnected.
Does it mention anywhere inbetween that the bell was reconected?
I must have missed it.
