Our holiday adventure area is Ontario's cottage country. We have rented a cottage on a small lake for four years. It has islands one of which we have camped on. The others are only big enough for picnics. There are sailing and canoeing opportunities, not too many traditional inhabitants or mountain climbing adventures though.
There are Great Northern Divers (or loons). The water is clean and safe for swimming and fishing and there are woods all around.
