As a child, around 1950 I think, I was given a shooting game which had a pistol which fired elastic bands at cardboard 'golliwog' figures suspended on a wire. If you hit one, it fell over. On the box the title said 'Shoot the N*****'. It seems unbelievable that such a game could be issued. Thank goodness such a children's game would not be issued now, and if that is being 'politically correct' then I plead guilty!
