Peter, I don't think they will. AR has an almost timeless quality, even though they do reflect 1930s England and will continue to be read (in the same way Dickens does). Rowling seems to me to have fixed them too rigidly in their time, and as I have mentioned before the quality of writing is not up to AR's standard - and this is what makes books last.
