In Roger Wardale's "In search of Swallows & Amazons" (AR's Lakeland),
there is on page 38 a conglomerate map of Coniston & Windermere with
the author's "possible solution" to the puzzle of AR's lake.
Just one (very knowledgeable) person's idea of how AR may have shifted the geography inside his own head to make "the lake" that
we all know out of the two that actually exist.
