I agree with faith and belief being seperate entities.
For example -
Yhere was a man cycling on a tight-rope over the Niagra Falls, crowds gathered to watch him as he went from shore to shore. He then offered to carry any memeber of the crowd across the tight-rope on his back.

No doubt many of the people there believed he could do it, but those who had faith were the ones who volunteered to be carried across.
