And what happens with sugar (if used)? The "one lump or two" question one hears of suggests that whomever is pouring out also adds the sugar (so would that mean that person adds the milk whether in the teapot or the cup)? (There is definitely a scene in one of the 12 where Susan is pouring out and asks I believe Capt. Flint this question.)

I was once in the early 1960s given tea at a British Army camp near Hannover; the tea was in large jugs and the milk and sugar were already mixed. This was at breakfast and I still remember it as the best tea I've ever had (but the circumstances certainly helped).
