I think you'd be lucky to run across copies of the two sequels to "The Far Distant Oxus" since I don't think either one was ever reprinted. I stumbled across a (signed by both authors) copy of "Escape to Persia" some years ago, but have never found "Oxus in Summer." Keep an eye out for them in the web book search sites like Bibliofind and MXBF Bookfinder and you might get lucky; "Far Distant Oxus" is generally easy to get a hold of, but a somewhat condensed version exists, so you should be mindful of that. (Pamela Whitlock also published (with Cape) an adult novel, "The Sweet Spring", which I remember reading and finding somewhat Virginia Woolf-ish.)

I've enjoyed the two Oxus books and they make an interesting counterpoint to the Ransomes but are in no way as polished. The delineation of the characters, in particular, is a poor second to S&A.
