two points come out of this...
(1) unnamed fisherman, I always thought it strange that we never gotto know the fishermans name... also, we never got the death and glories surnames either. For such central characters it seemd a bit odd...
(2) Here in NZ boarders could go home in weekends IF they lived close enought to the school.....
