So is Jock saying that the Ravenglass & Eskdale is Narrow Gauge or Miniature?

The R & E R went through a phase of running what were effectively model locomotives, but for a long time now has been adapting its engines to be 'as effective as possible motive power units'. And the finest in the fleet is Sir Arthur 'Heywood's flexible wheelbase narrow gauge 0-8-0' - rebuilt above the running board to look like a model but essentially still the same as far as the wheels and motion are concerned.
