Almost all those last ones you mentioned are still being published - at least in the UK as well as Mary Norton The rest I'm afraid, you probably will have to get secondhand, although there are publishers who specialise in reprinting old titles (Girls Gone By is one such, and I know there are others). I've built up quite a collection of books from charity shops, local fetes and jumble sales - I'm not a fanatic who only goes for first editions and I'm just as happy with a paperback. That having said, there are a number of gems amongst my books! Having friends who don't think I'm dotty to collect children's books is helpful too (thanks Joy!)
