For those who have wondered, "American Beer" (the mass-produced schleck like Bud, Miller, Coors, and so forth) is drunk as cold as possible to disguise the taste. None of it could be sold as beer in Germany anyhow because of the ingredients (the reinheitsgebot, if I remember the spelling correctly).

A few years ago one of those brands had an advert talking about how it was made with the best quality rice!
