I agree about creeks, especially navigable ones - but canals?
AFAIK there were only two canals in South London - The Croydon (now mostly railway line) and the Grand Surrey which was the Thames connection for the Croydon Canal and was abandoned during the second world war. Both were to the East of Wandsworth. Have I missed something?
