At the risk of stirring old embers wasn't a tentative proposal for a cartoon Ransome the original (if long-forgoten)casus belli of an ancient TARS War?
Although a Disney S&A would probably make me vomit what would be the harm in it?
A casual viewing of Disney and other Holywood productions for children suggests that the values projected include: friendship (e.g. Scooby Doo), a rather uncritcally romantic view of "nature" (all those cartoons set in forests) and a respect for individuality and imagination (often the weak, eccentric, Tittyish character is the hero/saves the day (think ET). Now somewhere along the line they also peddle: consumerism, corporate imperialism and American hegemony but then doesn't that apply to just about everything we see or hear?
