I'm afraid I don't follow you here. What article? And do you mean "CN", which he did start on in 1943? Best of Childhood quotes Myles North's letter with the GN plot, and it's dated 1944.
As an aside, it may be better for us all to refer to CITN rather than CN, to avoid confusion with GN.
