It would be nice if we could go to all these places without the maddening crowd; BUT remember, if it were not for the touristers, ALL these places would have dried up and blown away years ago. There would have been no incentive for most folks to stick around set alone keep up the places we love to visit, as the rubber neckers keep all these wonderful places GREEN($$$) - AND, as tourists, we have a responsibility to respect and do our part to care for the places we visit!

Our little town of Lucas, Kansas realizes this in a big way! (Our demographics are about 65% of the town is over 65 - but not all retired!) I keep hearing: "We NEED more Artists!".
