Peter Willis has now returned from an enjoyable trip in Rome. Peter says he was told of the meeting between Ransome and Griffiths on the hard at West Mersea by Josephine Russell, but has no further information at this stage.
Peter also feels that there is a likely link between the two men through Harry King's Pin Mill boatyard, and the fact that Griffiths designed Lapwing.
