The photo on page 48 of Christina Hrdyment's latest edition of "AR and Capt. Flint's Trunk" shows AR sailing Swallow in Bowness Bay. It is a black and white picture, but it certainly looks as if the hull is white with a black or dark coloured sheerstrake.
