The closing in PM leaves us all dangling anxiously with "what happens next" type of concerns, as Nancy, expressing her relief at the end of this ten day period of catering to the GA by proposing to "start stirring things up." Timothy was a bit alarmed by Nancy's eagerness and was wanting some "quiet life" but Nancy put that down: "You can't expect it. Not with the Swallows coming, and Uncle Jim, and five whole weeks of the holidays still to go."

What an intro into the next phase of Nancy's stirrings.

It has been my belief that it is in those five weeks that the Coots showed up in the North as well as the D's parents ready for their sailing lessons. Perhaps the presence of the Callum adults taking part in activities might alter the possibilites of Nancy's creative imagination, but we will never know. So with "Coots in the North" drying up on the vine, we are all left dangling, with baited breath, looking anxiously about for that next chapter - and are left with only our respective imaginations as to the consequences of Nancy's stirrings. What happens next? Perhaps at one time or another we have all tried to imagine the various scenarios, but we still wonder, what DID "REALLY" HAPPEN?

It never did.

So here we dangle... unrequited...

Sniff...
