Ed, I've never thought about the senior Callums showing up in a story but it's an interesting suggestion. I'm imagining Prof. Callum investigating the Roman ruins in the area and Nancy deciding (for some reason) that archaeology is the next thing (after gold mining). Can't you just see pushing dromedaries up the Hardknott Pass to get to the fort at the top? Coming down could be even more dramatic!
