All this talk of Britten reminds me of a book I remember as one of the best attempts at a story in AR genre. Set on the Suffolk coast it involve birdwatching and a group of kids/children/ young adults conducting an amateur archaeological dig. I remember the Dick character pointing to the presence of nettles as an indicator of ruins beneath the surface.
Anyone else remember this book? (I think I may have droned on about it before on this board.)
