Interesting link Jock (even though the author can't spell Wittgenstein!) Who would imagine we could get a connection between AR and Wittgenstein, though of course for a philosopher he did have a lot of interest in more every day things than they generally do. I had noticed that 'toff' is queried by Word's spell checker (and yes, before anyone asks it is set to English English!), yet it's one of those words I have grown up with (though I have just checked the Concise Oxford, it's there of course but is slang).
