A friend gave me a copy for my boat's 70'th birthday (she was launched on the 8th of August 1937).

It occurs to me that this, or the First Edition of 1933, along with the relevant edition of the Cruising Association Handbook, would have been the pilot book used by Ransome himself. It has photographs of the Pye End Buoy, etc. and detailed descriptions of buoyage, pilotage, and the various creeks and harbours - it also covers the Broads.

Well worth looking out for.
