Andy, I'm probably an old fogey about this, but I have a pure hatred of non-American situation books being made over as TV or films but set in the US. It's been done so often and generally so badly and unsympathetically to the original script I just wish they'd change the title and be done with it. About the only thing worse is US series' set outside the US and assuming the foreign country's characteristics - generally wrong! Recently I saw something supposedly set in NZ with emus running around! Sheesh! And don't get me started on the accents...
