I like PM, not as much as SA and Swallowdale but more than the others. I don't like the broads books much although perhaps I would if I re-read them. I'm less keen on PD than ML, possibly because PD struck me as a bit of a stretch- the pirate ship being destroyed by a convenient waterspout just didn't do it for me. I know ML is even less likely, but I like the character development in it especially of Captain Flint.
I like WDMS more than SW, not sure why. Maybe its because the story is faster paced or because the eels aren't such good characters, they seem to be less impressive, creepier versions of the Amazons.
