Just checked S&A--the part where John, Susan & Roger are creeping up the Amazon River in the dark--and SD--just after the race near the end--and the wording AR uses is "the Beckfoot boathouse". WH--when Peggy rows them all across because Nancy's toasting her jaw by the fire--"That's our boathouse" (Peggy). PP--when Dick & Dot sail Titty & Roger across from Rio in Amazon--"There's the boathouse!" (Roger). PM--when the D's bring Scarab back after their first sail in her--"They passed the boathouse." All suggesting only one. Also the drawing in PM titled "Lookout Post on the Ridge" shows one boathouse with a single-peaked roof, on the far lower right next to the river.
