I was introduced to the books when I was about Eleven by my brother.
I got them from Brighton public library and later bought a couple of used copies with pocket money, these got left behind in England when I left.
I never read PD I am not sure why, maybe it was never in the library. I have since read it and enjoyed it.
I now read the whole series on a fairly regular basis. I also have Racundra's First Cruise and the Rod and Line DVD. I hope to acquire more of his works when I visit the UK
