I'm sorry if I seemed to be totally negative. That was not my intention. I think that the TarBoard Yahoo Group is a great resource and applaud the efforts that you and others are making to collect and organise this visual material. But I am pleading that if anyone wants to include a link on TarBoard to a picture, please put the picture somewhere where it will not be behind a subscription wall.
Please note that I am not arguing that material linked from TarBoard should not be posted to the Yahoo Group as well, nor I am saying that members of Group should not post messages that reference material on Yahoo such as 'pictures of our latest expedition are now our team folder on TarBoard Yahoo'. (Though it might be a nice touch to include a link to a sample picture that is not behind the Yahoo Group doorway!)
If anyone needs help in hosting a picture, then there are a number of TarBoarders, myself included, who are more than happy to help.
