I'd like to use my bike to go into our village shops for light errands, but I can't be sure that my bike will still be there when I come out of the shop.
I do use my 1970's tourer, reasoning that anyone who recogises the name of the frame builder is a kindred spirit and won't steal it, whilst a padlock will deter the rest. Mind you, the lights are rusty and the mudguards are held together with gaffer tape.
