I hadn't heard it before, and I'm struck by how very good an adaptation it is.
I loved it. The adaptation faithfully catches the atmosphere of the book,
sea shanties and all. The BBC used to do radio drama extremely well.
Using Titty as the narrator is an imaginative way to convey the perspective
of time.
