For what it's worth, any secondary source be it Wikipedia, Britannica, etc. does not have the same weight as a primary source, and users (especially children) should be taught this -- we were taught early on that we couldn't cite encyclopedia articles as primary sources - at least I was. I was also taught to look up the references cited in the encyclopedia articles. Another good lesson.
(I am charmed by the children doing Wikipedia searches as after-lunch activities -- at least as an alternative to smoking behind the gym.)
It has also been noted somewhere that a committee is a decsion-making body designed by a camel.
