Adam - I quite offended to be accused of 'trolling' on this forum. If you look back through past posts I have made numerous contributions to various topics for a number of years (I am sure Ian can supply you with the data of exactly how many years) none of which have been made to cause offence or dispute facts, just as everyone else I have expressed my or opinion of the topics being discussed.
My questioning of the so-called Harry Potter effect still stands. Photographs of teenage boys queuing up to buy the latest book does not 'prove' that the works of J K Rowling have created huge numbers of 'new' readers.
I was under this impression that this forum existed to discuss and share ideas about a great children’s writer, not to practice cheap tabloid journalism.
