Obviously not in a general sense, Adam , but I took it as an Official Reprimand. I'm sorry but we are talking about the Webmaster here. Ian cannot pretend to be just an ordinary Joe Tarboarder. What he says will always carry extra weight - he intervenes rarely. I took enormous care over that posting, having it on the 'test post' page for nearly 40 minutes. Then it was blown away by Ian. I reacted in the most controlled way I could, although I was extremely hurt.
There's an old song called 'It's Not What You Do, It's the Way that You Do It'. What would have been so difficult about Ian saying "Peter - I think you have interpreted 'explosions' wrongly. May I suggest another way of looking at this . . ." It is the way you, Adam, and most other Tarboarders would have reacted. If Ian wants to be an ordinary Tarboarder like you, I suggest you give him some lessons in tact.
