Ah, right... The idea was simply to copy the lat/long reference from the posting here, and paste it directly into the Google Earth destination box. This used Northings and Westings, rather than plus and minus, and was itself lifted directly from a Google Earth pushpin location.
It works (as these things should) provided you don't pick up the final full stop. It's the only really clean and simple way that I know of, of picking up and transmitting a Google Earth fix when I can't send a .kmz file.
