A "shop"? A "SHOP"??? It's Booths sir, quite possibly the greatest supermarket known to humanity. No trip to the Lakes is complete without loading up a trolley-load of char, potted shrimps, the finest cumberland sausage and bacon, sticky toffee pudding and a half dozen each of Coniston Bluebird and Jennings. Their Opera slices used to be a legend in their own right... oh dear, I do miss Booths... ;-)
