I think they had problems about the copyright. It was certainly obtained from several sources, for instance the interviews with Taqui and Mavis Altounian, which I thought were the best things in the programme, were clearly from some previous film. The BBC were probably able to afford/buy the rights for just one transmission, and not for Internet use. As a result, it wasn't on the iPlayer either. As a further result, I almost didn't see it at all, as I didn't record it but watched it live instead. Which I now regret; it was a lovely programme and I'd happily have watched it again. The greatest pleasure was the strong impression I got of the two women. Delightful.
The programme is probably available as a BitTorrent somewhere, although I wouldn't know where to look.
