Luke - I certainly agree with you on the "best-behaved board" issue, and I would go further and say that since the "take-over" I personally detect a very genuine conviviality and easing of tension.
As to a truce (and I am talking now about a truce with anyone), yes that's fine, provided that 'unfinished business' is got out of the way. There has to be a talking through process, to achieve closure and a virtual handshake. Otherwise, it's the old 'elephant in the room' problem. The Amazons and the Swallows did a fair bit of talking before their truce !
