Does anyone, by any chance at all, happen to know the current state of the Windermere Steamboat Museum project? I've emailed the Lakeland Arts Trust and had no response yet, and the "news" on the museum website stops in Spring 2008. We're planning a trip across the pond in December and I was hoping we might finally get to see Amazon. We had to make do with peering through a window in 2006!
Also hoping we might be able to see Coch-y-bondhhu at St. Annes, although I read with some trepidation that they are shut "for a short period over the Christmas holiday". Just looked at their website - things seem to have changed a bit since my sister was there. Good grief, is that a BOY in one of those photos????
