Ed's picture from Lakelandcam is certainly very like how Darien might have been.
However Peter is right, in Hardyment's Captain Flint's Trunk there is an annotated picture of Friars Crag in Derwentwater to be used by an illustrator.
There is also another annotated Derwentwater picture to be used for a guide for the mountains at the head of the lake.
These cards were to be used by Cliifford Webb - who's illustrations were used in the early editions of SA & SD.
