Hugh Brogan confessed he had written the last similar book, 25 years ago, and it is time for another. "To this necessary undertaking, Roland Chambers has undeniably made a large contribution."
On the other hand, he (HB) sees RC as so appalled by the crimes of the Bolsheviks that it rubs off on AR. "He seems to have started out with a grudge against Ransome which he began to realise is unjustifiable."
It sounds an interesting book.
