Many thanks for pointing that quote out, Mike - it clarifies things a great deal. What it clarifies is that neither Chambers nor Prodger knows the first thing about law. What AR had written on his passport is neither here nor there. You can only commit bigamy by going through two recognised forms of marriage ceremony with two different persons. AR certainly did not do this. You could, I suppose, accuse AR of deceit on his passport but those were desperate times and he wanted to get Evgenia out of Russia.
