AR's illustrations for SA first appeared in the 14th printing in 1938. No indication that it was a 'first edition', but Wayne Hammond has identified the break from Clifford Webb in his Bibliography. (Not a clean break: two Webb chapter endpieces survived, and were removed in the next printing in 1939.)
The SD print of June 1938 was described as a 'New Edition', and was the first with AR's illustrations. In fact, it appeared a few months before the SA print. But PD (1932) and the others always had AR's from their first editions.
If you are interested in these questions, it's vital to get the Bibliography.
